I first became aware of ConTact C.A.R.E. when our beautiful Arab mare come to us via a transporter. When she came off the transporter, she did the full back splits. With a full vet check the next day we thought it was ok. Within 3 months she became a different horse. Girthy and difficult (actually in pain) My daughter was riding her and did her girth up the final notch, a bucking bronco session ensued, resulting in my daughter being bucked off over my head and suffered severe concussion.<\/p>\n
I had run out of ideas and was recommended to look into ConTact C.A.R.E so I contacted a practitioner and I noticed a difference immediately. 2 more sessions and she was back to normal and has gone on to win at endurance competitions. I did find it strange given the injury was in her sacrum the key to her improving was her skull. The concussive effect of her injury in the back ended up in the front. Upon learning this is a martial art I thought this could be me. My daughter also was treated for concussion and her memory improved and also her mood\u2026.<\/p>\n
My daughter competes in equestrian competitions so being able to work with her is a wonderful experience.<\/p>\n
I am a 4th degree Black Belt in Zennin Martial arts, Black belt in Krav Maga and Black belt in Zennin Kickboxing, so when I heard this is a martial art, I decided to give it a go and have not looked back. I have competed at a high level in my younger days as a surfer, footballer and have been lucky to experience international rugby for Hong Kong so peak performance is a passion and of interest.<\/p>\n<\/div>

ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release Method is a discipline focusing on injuries to humans, horses, dogs and cats where Simon may assist by releasing skeletal and sensory built up and return the body and senses to a new normal.<\/p>\n
Over time we have all experienced injuries. These injuries cause us to feel pain, restrict \u0003movement, be uncoordinated and unbalanced, using the Flinchlock Release Method provides \u0003a comfortable, non-intrusive and supportive method for balancing the body to its new normal. \u0003It is not manipulative or do we cause pain. We always move to comfort.<\/p>\n
Bones are the foundation of humans and animals. If the foundation is twisted, injured or out of balance the rest of the body follows. This causes pain, discomfort and reduces movement, and by using the Flinchlock Release Method and releasing skeletal and sensory pressure built up and return the body and senses to a new normal.<\/p>\n
ConTact C.A.R.E is a practical study in \u2018The Nature of Stillness\u2019. It is a Martial Arts based discipline created in Ngatea, New Zealand by Dale W. Speedy (6th Dan Blackbelt Kiaido-Ryu) and Kym Summers. Simon has studied and trained for Human under founders Dale Speedy and Kym Summers, and Equine under Camille Nelson, Director and Practitioner Instructor. He completed his foundational training with Jonathan Baker, Advanced Practitioner and Foundation Instructor.<\/p>\n
ConTact C.A.R.E recognizes that the skeleton defends itself automatically and independently when impacted by surprise. This results in what we call SKELETAL SENSORY SHOCK.<\/p>\n
